Corn on the Cob in the Husk

Directions

Pull back husk and remove loose silk. Rinse corn inside and out with water. Pull husk back over each cob.

Place two ears of corn on the cob in the microwave and cook on high for 5 minutes, turning once after 2 1/2 minutes. If you are microwaving 3 cobs of corn then microwave and cook on high for 8 minutes, turning once after 4 minutes.

Remove from microwave and allow to cool 2 minutes so you don't get burned while removing the husk after cooking (the silk should just fall off). Serve warm with butter or any dressing you prefer.

NOT in the Husk

Directions

Shuck corn. Remove any silk and rinse with water.

Wet as many paper towels as cobs of corn you will be microwaving and wring-out excess water. Wrap a damp paper towel around each cob of corn.

Place wrapped corn on the cob in the microwave. For two cobs cook on high for 5 minutes, turning once, after 2 1/2 minutes. For 3 cobs cook on high for 8 minutes, turning once after 4 minutes.

Remove from microwave and allow to cool 2 minutes so you don't get burned while removing paper towel after cooking. Serve warm with butter or any dressing you prefer.
