Preheat the oven to 320 degrees F (150 degrees C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, add the oats, all bran, brown sugar, sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, cinnamon, salt, and dried fruit. Mix thoroughly.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the applesauce, honey, vanilla and water. Place in the microwave for 30 seconds. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well coated.
Spread granola evenly onto prepared baking dish. Bake 20 - 25 minutes in the preheated oven or until toasted. Stir every 5 - 7 minutes. Remove from oven then stir in the flax seed meal. Allow to cool completely. Store this healthy granola in an airtight container.
